About Fletchers Restaurant Bar & Rooms
Fletchers Restaurant Bar & Rooms puts guests straight into an en-suite room with drinks available on request, a welcome touch after a day spent exploring Stirling. Free WiFi and a lift make the place easy to navigate, while 24 hour reception means arrivals are never awkward, whatever time the train or the road brings you in.
Downstairs, the restaurant and bar are the real draw, with a menu that regulars return for again and again. The Scotch egg, venison and Wallace Loaded Fries come up often as highlights, served in a relaxed setting by staff who keep things running smoothly without fuss. Breakfast is included, and prices throughout are considered fair rather than inflated for the tourist trade.
Free on-site parking takes the stress out of driving in, and the location on Upper Craigs puts pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach, with a golf course also nearby for those wanting to fill a day differently. It works equally well as a base for sightseeing or as a stop with a meeting room for something more practical.

Whilst staying in Stirling for work, a colleague and I visited Fletcher’s for dinner, and it was an excellent choice. There is a small car park directly outside the restaurant, although spaces are very limited. We instead parked in the nearby retail park, where there is up to three hours of free parking, which worked perfectly for our visit. We had booked a table for 8:15pm but arrived slightly early. Thankfully, the team were happy to seat us straight away. To start, we shared the Halloumi Fries with aioli, which were absolutely delicious. They were perfectly cooked, full of flavour and made a fantastic start to the meal. For my main course, I chose the Angus Beef Burger, upgrading the fries to the Truffle & Parmesan Fries. The burger itself was excellent – the beef was well seasoned, the brioche bun was fresh and soft, and the portion size was generous. The truffle fries were also very good, although I personally would have preferred a little more Parmesan. The accompanying coleslaw wasn’t quite to my taste, but that certainly didn’t detract from an otherwise excellent meal. My colleague ordered the Risotto and was equally impressed, commenting on both the flavour and generous portion size. Service throughout the evening was friendly, welcoming and efficient without ever feeling rushed. Although we decided not to order dessert, we were able to stay at the table after finishing our meal and chat without feeling pressured to leave, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Overall, Fletcher’s delivered excellent food, generous portions and warm service in a relaxed setting. I’d happily return on my next visit to Stirling and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality evening meal.

Plenteous and most friendly service. Staff is eager to please. This historic building has a past that they will gladly share. We were attended in such a friendly manner over breakfast. The interior is stylish and modern. We had a corner room that viewed the sunset and business of the city. Located at the entrance to the old town and foot of the castle, we enjoyed a 15 minute walk up the hill. Many beautiful buildings to admire on the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would gladly stay in Fletcher's on our return trip.

Great cuisine. Venison steak is absolutely gorgeous, cooked perfectly. The sweet potato, coconut and chilli soup packed a good punch but I loved it. They make a mean Long Highland ice tea. My my that went down a treat. The service from everyone was exceptional. It was a great experience overall and the price was very reasonable for such good quality food and drinks. If I didn't live so far away I would be here every week.
