Victoria Square Guest House

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at Victoria Square in Stirling, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We stayed in Garden Floor Room 8, which was absolutely beautiful. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and incredibly comfortable. From the moment we arrived, it felt peaceful and welcoming. The hospitality was exceptional. We were greeted with such a warm welcome, and it was a lovely surprise to find a complimentary decanter of sherry waiting in our room – such a thoughtful touch that made us feel instantly at home. The room was also well equipped with a great selection of teas and coffee, along with a stocked payable mini bar in the fridge. We also loved spending time in the beautiful drawing room. It was such a relaxing space to sit with a drink, unwind and soak up the elegant surroundings. Dinner was outstanding. Every course was beautifully presented, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Breakfast the following morning was equally exceptional, with fresh, high-quality ingredients, generous portions and presentation to match. The shower deserves a special mention too – powerful, and one of the best we’ve experienced during a B&B stay! The whole house is full of character and charm while offering every luxury you could wish for. The attention to detail throughout is second to none, and it’s clear the owners and staff genuinely care about creating a truly memorable experience for their guests. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Victoria Square to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay in Stirling. Elegant, Victorian era boutique hotel with views of the park and a 10-15 minute walk from the castle, shops, and local historic sites. Our room was clean & spacious, and breakfast served in the dining area had excellent food and service. We really enjoyed the walkable nature of the area amd appreciated being a little removed from some of the busier sections of town. The only issue the entire stay was my partner discovered he was too broad to fit into the shower stall (6'2 and 250lbs was a bit of a squeeze!).

I have found that this is one of the best places to stay in Stirling. It's in a quiet neighborhodd and is comfortable, clean, uncrowded, spacious, and elegant but not pretentious. The staff has been absolutely wonderful and the food has been fantastic. It is worth the price.

Giving five stars to Victoria Square almost seems like underrating it. The venue is full of charm, the food is exceptional and the staff are caring and considerate. This is the kind of hospitality experience that you might not believe exists anymore.
