What visitors say

Frederic Douet

This museum is very eclectic. There are many display cases to see; the exhibitions are organized by theme and recount the life and history of Scotland.

Very interesting and varied collection. Lots of information available and would be great for anyone of any age to visit. Just wish it was a little bigger and more options in the gift shop. But other than that a great visit.

Stuart Hingston

Nice little museum and gallery. They have some very impressive tunnock's tea cakes sculptures and the world’s oldest football. They also had a basket of chalk out the front for the kids to draw on the pavement. Good fun. Nice place to park to walk up to the castle. It was free on the Sunday when we visited to park and the museum is always free.

Interesting small museum. Has nice works of art and then a local history museum. It's also free.
