What a fantastic beach. It's quite well sheltered from the wind so the water is really calm and clear. There's plenty of parking (with a reasonable charge of £7 for the whole day). Kayaks and paddleboard for hire. Decent cafe and shop on the beach front. Toilets. What more could you want for a day out on the beach?

Everything was exactly as described. The area is clean and well maintained, and the water is absolutely beautiful. There is a lovely boardwalk, a great restaurant, a sauna, and even a kayak rental service, making it a perfect destination for a family day out. I would definitely recommend bringing beach shoes, as the shoreline is covered with smooth pebbles of all sizes rather than sand. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the final road leading to the beach parking area. It is extremely narrow, making it impossible for two vehicles to pass each other. On several occasions, I had to reverse dozens or even hundreds of meters to allow oncoming traffic through, which was quite inconvenient. Apart from that, the place itself is a true paradise. The stunning scenery, crystal-clear water, and excellent facilities make it well worth a visit. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful spot to spend time with family. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Superb medium sized sheltered bay and beach with ample parking (paid) and facilities (toilets, beach bar, cafe and restaurant, paddle shop and hire). Not a sandy beach but fine shingle so much cleaner than sand. Very comfortable, very chilled, no rubbish or big rocks and waters felt very warm and clean. Could get wavey with the incoming tide and water entry quite steep. Will visit again if in the region.

Good parking. Pebble beach- no sand toddlers will need fair warning to prevent any meltdowns 😂. Life guard on site. Place for shower and good toilet facilities. Cafe and take away as well. Water sports available. The Kayaking is really good. There is a boardwalk from the beach which was really thoughtful. The water is crystal and the beach is a Blue Flag beach. Excellent waters. Lots of jellyfish due to the warm weather. The brown ones (very few) apparently sting, the rest transparent ones are harmless.
