Stratford-on-Avon sits at the heart of some of England's most visited countryside, within reach of Shakespeare's birthplace, Blenheim Palace, Oxford and the Cotswolds' best market towns. Lavender Cottage puts you in a quiet village position, surrounded by rolling land and public footpaths that lead deep into the landscape. The cottage itself is built from local stone—a two-bedroom property sleeping four, with a wood burner in the living room and an equipped kitchen where you can cook properly. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles; there's a bathroom with a bath and shower upstairs, and a separate toilet on the ground floor.
The essentials are sorted: heating, electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, along with fuel for the wood burner. Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and seating gives you space to sit out, and there's parking for two cars on the property. The kitchen has what you need to prepare meals—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and the rest—and a dining table to eat at. No smoking is permitted inside. The village pub is within reach for an evening out, and from here you can easily explore National Trust gardens, Cheltenham's racing heritage, or any number of Cotswolds villages without a long drive.
