What visitors say
Stunning, stunning, stunning! Beautiful stop on the up to Skye and back again from Yorkshire. Book a loch side pitch in advance and you won't be disappointed. Ideal for launching your own paddle board or kayak etc. Clean toilet blocks, plenty of space and peace and quiet. Lovely welcome from Fiona and will be back again in the future. Enjoyed the walk into Luss which is a beautiful little village with lovely food and drink options. Many thanks

This campsite has amazing facilities, very nice bathrooms and showers. The view is amazing, one of the best I’ve seen in Scotland which isn’t too hard to get to. There wasn’t any loud teenagers playing music which seems to be an issue at other campsites but this was a calm and peaceful campsite. The service on my phone worked perfectly and didn’t have any issue with that. One downside might be the amount of midges but honestly that is expected everywhere you go in hot weather near a loch so isn’t a problem with the actual campsite. Would definitely recommend this if you are going away with friends or family, or even alone.

Booked for 1 week but left after 1 night. Its a beautiful location and luss is lovely. Some great hiking, but the site does not match. My review is based on camping. 1. No bins. There are only bins at the entrance. Drop 1 star. 2. No ability to charge your phone or battery pack. All campsites have this for tent dwellers. When I asked I was told I should have booked an electric pitch. Drop 1 star. 3. No freezer to freeze ice blocks. Simple addition. Wont Drop your star there. 4. The road noise is awful. I felt I was next to a motorway. The tents were so close to the road you could feel the lorry's. All through the night as well. Drop 1 star. So that is my feedback and 2 stars would be easily recouped there. But I won't be back and many others there were saying the same.

We got there with a Motorhome and since the pitches were very good i gave 5 stars in the „room“ category. Over all a very pleasant stay. The campsite is located directly at the water and you can access the loch from diffrent points. Make sure you bring swimshoes since there are a lot of stones in loch lomond. The staff on the campsite is friendly and welcoming. The showers and loos are good in the block near the entrance and very nice in the middle of the site. The campsite is located next to a often used road but the noise is very week, in our pitch at least.
