About The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel
The Lodge sits directly on the beachfront at Luss, on the western shore, with most rooms facing east across the water towards Ben Lomond. The building is clad and finished in Scandinavian-style timber, and its signature feature is the private sauna found in many of the rooms, which is a genuine pleasure after a wet day on the hills.
Accommodation is graded through a dozen categories, from Glen Luss doubles up to Munro, Corbett and Graham grades and a set of larger suites, with rates typically starting around £209 and rising for the loch-facing and suite categories. There is also a self-contained eight-bedroom beach house for groups. The restaurant looks straight down the loch, and the hotel runs spa treatments, weddings and conference space.
Luss village, with its slate-roofed estate cottages, pier and parish church, is a two-minute walk, and cruise boats leave from the pier through the season. Glasgow is roughly thirty minutes by car on the A82. The position is the selling point: few hotels in Scotland put you this close to the water, and waking to the loch a few metres from the window is worth the premium over inland alternatives.

What guests say
Exceptional service, amazing food, and breathtaking views! We booked a stay here as our base while attending a card show in Scotland, and it exceeded our expectations. The Lodge has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere, and the view from our room was absolutely amazing—looking out over the water was a massive highlight of our trip. The food throughout our stay was fantastic, including a delicious continental and cooked breakfast. Because we had to leave early for the show and would have missed breakfast, the staff went above and beyond by packing us takeaway breakfast boxes. Their helpful, attentive service made our trip entirely stress-free. It’s a beautiful spot with stunning scenery, and we’d definitely stay here again!

I remember the first time I arrived here. It's an incredible place. The reception staff are wonderful. The restaurant and waiting staff are perfect. The lunch was phenomenal.... And The View from where I was sitting?! Nothing beats the bonnie bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. It's more than delightful. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for everything!! You guys are the best on the West Coast. Ps, the wedding staff are like clockwork.

Stayed dinner bed and breakfast. Stayed in room one. Lovely view of the loch if your looking out the window, and from the restaurant. Unfortunately I think this hotels beautiful location is relied upon too heavily and attention to details is therefore lacking in most other places. What looks like new carpet in halls was incredibly dirty, not stained, just covered in muck, it had looked like a while since they were hoovered. Tea stains on room mugs, not a big issue but just added too the overall lack of attention. Food was unfortunately quite a disappointment. Very bland, and the roast on particular tasted very dry and overcooked especially the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. I think the fact that was priced at £25 was very hard to justify. All seemed very expensive including drinks. Staff were attentive on the evenening but breakfast was chaotic with large ques for coffee machine and everyone crammed in one area, dogs barking and people shouting to each other about what juice they want. Really makes the tranquil scenery out of place. We are an engaged couple and we're excited to explore wedding possibilities but to be honest I would be embarrassed to expect my family and friends pay the prices especially for food and drinks for a nice view that is expected to carry everything else.

Was in for morning breakfast tea, it was absolutely beautiful, the selection was fab. The only change I would suggest is drop the scones and muffins and add toast and maybe shortbread, that would be perfect but no complaints it was lovely and will definitely come back......thanks
