About Green Haven Camping
Tucked away near Rumburgh in rural Suffolk, Green Haven Camping is a small, welcoming site that's earned a strong reputation for its peaceful atmosphere and friendly hosts. With electric and non-electric grass pitches – plus space for tourers – it keeps things refreshingly simple: expect good facilities (showers, loos, drinking water), campfires under the stars, and a genuinely dog-friendly vibe that families particularly appreciate.
The lack of WiFi and chemical disposal might not suit everyone, but for those after a proper digital detox in the Suffolk countryside, that's rather the point. Reviewers consistently praise the tranquil setting and helpful owners, making it a solid, no-frills base for exploring this quiet corner of East Anglia.

What visitors say
Nice little campsite. Ideal if you prefer somewhere smaller and less crowded. Flat field, choice of spots and the owners assured us that they never fully fill it. Electric hook up available if needed. Small campervans and caravans catered for. Toilet and shower block kept clean and tidy. There are only 2 toilets and 2 showers, so you may have a bit of a wait during busy periods. Hot showers are 50p for 7 mins which is plenty. Fire pits available to hire, along with with fire kits with everything you need for an evening fire, though we found the wood selection contained mostly small branches that whilst they were dry, we harder to burn than proper split logs. Little shop on site with fresh bread most days that we saw, along with fridge/freezer available for campers to use. Hosts very friendly and happy to help where needed. Great little pub 10 min stroll down the road. We enjoyed our time here and would be happy to come again should we return to the area.

Lovely and quiet campsite with good facilities. Showers are 50p (coin in slot) for 7 minutes hot water. The showers and toilets are very clean and well maintained. Small shop on site which is self service, you write what you have taken and pop cash in the tin. You can find some walks across the fields but you do have to walk a little way on the roads to get to them, the roads were pretty quiet during our stay. Price for a pitch with ehu is very reasonable. Very relaxed and friendly owners which very much increased the enjoyment of our stay. This is our second stay here and it won't be our last.

A beautiful, peaceful little campsite, we were welcomed in so nicely by Katherine. We stayed for 5 nights and I wish it had been longer. The facilities are superb and immaculate. The little shop is gorgeous, I had some delicious apples to take home to the children. Always someone around to help out. Set in a tucked away position it really is a Haven. Loved every minute. A little bit of a drive into the the local town but that suited us.
