Stayed here for two nights. Lovely guest house the owners were very nice and welcoming the room we stayed in had a microwave,toaster and a fridge. The room was a nice size with a shower and toilet. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay here again..

The acorn guest house was an ideal place to stay. It was situated in a nice area of Sunderland, better than the city centre but not far from it. The hosts were kind and provided a great breakfast and facilities such as a microwave and cutlery and crockery were provided. The bedroom was comfortable and parking for cars and bikes is ideal for security. The value for money was outstanding when I stayed for a Saturday evening in July.

Really nice room, lovely breakfast. The owners are fantastic and go above and beyond for all guests. Perfect place to stay, close to Sunderland City Centre but far enough for a peaceful sleep. Hoping to come back very soon!

A really nice place to stay. Very homely, clean and comfy. Close to Sunderland city centre but not noisy. The guest house is a bit vintage but in a good way. The breakfast is brilliant and the staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.
