This family run establishment is honestly one of the best pubs I have been to in Sunderland, the ambience along with the friendliness of the staff makes it a great experience. I have also stayed here using the Airbnb app with an exceptional experience. Really enjoyed the couple of nights I stayed there and would recommend this players to travelers and locals alike!

Not the worst experience of hotel I've ever had. It's a local friendly pub, staff are well accommodating. However the rooms are not the best at all very dated and not the cleanest. It kind of reminds me of the place you go when your partners dumped you, your down on your luck and trying to punish yourself. There was still items left in beside draws from previous guests. The TV was not connected. Shared kitchen and bathroom. Cheap and not cheerful. But 30 quid each a night not sure what else was of expected from Victoria clean room would of been nice though.
