About Rhossili Paddocks
Even in the face of some pretty stiff competition, Rhossili Bay is surely one of the most scenic spots in the gorgeous Gower National Landscape. There are wild ponies grazing as you look out to the Worm's Head tidal island, and the three-mile sandy beach has won the title of Britain's Best Beach in the past – all supremely close when you stay at Rhossili Paddocks, about a five-minute drive or a mile-and-a-half walk along a country path from the village and coast.
This tiny family-run farm site keeps things simple but well-maintained: spacious non-electric grass pitches, clean toilet and shower facilities, a washing-up area, and a communal barn for rainy-day shelter. Horse riders appreciate the separate grazing fields and shelters. The welcome is genuinely warm, the location peaceful with spectacular views, and there are excellent walks, bike rides and top-notch pubs on the doorstep. Other Gower gems like Oxwich, Three Cliffs and Mumbles are all within a half-hour drive, while Rhossili village's cafés and pub are under two miles away.

What visitors say
This was my first time camping and I had the absolute best time! Beautiful, dog-friendly beaches and idyllic landscapes on a glorious part of the South Wales coastline. The campsite is clean, well-maintained and has all the facilities you need for a really relaxing stay. It is set in a wonderful, peaceful location, with owners who could not have been more helpful. I will definitely be returning!

Had a lovely stay here over the bank holiday weekend, recommend! Gorgeous location, just a short walk (45 mins ish if you avoid the road) from rhossili bay, also can do a gorgeous circular walk across the coast path that Id really recommend (lots of swim opportunities on the way!). Really friendly owners and good facilities, handy to have access to the kitchen and fridge

Started our 6 week UK tour here by utter good luck. An absolute gem of friendliness, beautiful peaceful meadow space, and clean amenities. Dog was allowed to potter about instead of this ' short lead' off putting thing in most campsites. Beautiful hour long walk cross country to the stunning bay of Rhossili. We will definately be back x

We stayed at Rhossili Paddocks this weekend with our horses and had a fantastic time. Our group included people sleeping in horseboxes, and others camping in tents. There are also glamping huts available. The site is incredibly welcoming, family-friendly and dog-friendly, with other guests including a large family group with several young children. The new owners have recently taken over the already popular site and are doing an amazing job. Denise couldn't do enough for us, and her daughter Niamh and the rest of the family were equally friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The horse facilities were excellent, with separate grazing fields for mares and geldings, field shelters, electric fencing and CCTV, giving us complete peace of mind. The shared facilities were fantastic too, including a fully equipped kitchen, all-weather welcome barn, toilets, showers and even outdoor wash stations. The hacking is simply breathtaking, with stunning routes to the beach and incredible views across Rhossili Bay. We would highly recommend Rhossili Paddocks and can't wait to return.
