This converted barn on the Gower Peninsula was once a working cow shed. It's a semi-detached property set back from the coast, with parking for two cars and an enclosed garden where you can light the barbecue. One dog is welcome. The building sits near the owner's working farm, within walking distance of a pub and restaurant, and about a quarter mile from the nearest beach.
The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs there's an open-plan living space with a wood burner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and the first bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. Upstairs are two further bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—sharing a family bathroom. In total, the property sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; logs for the burner are too. A travel cot, highchair and stair gate can be provided if needed.
The Gower has three major beaches within reach—Llangennith, Fall Bay and Three Cliffs Bay—where you'll find everything from surfing to rock pools. Worm's Head, part of the Wales Coast Path, is a dramatic walk across cliffs with views towards Devon on clear days, and seals are sometimes spotted there. For something different, Perriswood Archery and Falconry Centre is about 6 miles away. No smoking inside the property.
