Acorn Cottage is a converted farm building with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping four guests. You get the whole place to yourself: an open-plan ground floor combining living space, dining area and kitchen, then two bedrooms and a shower room upstairs. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine. Heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. There is a patio with garden furniture, and private parking for two cars on site.

The cottage sits within a 250-acre working farm on the edge of Teigngrace, with the River Teign nearby. You have access to a shared heated outdoor swimming pool (open late May to September, 8am–8pm) and landscaped grounds with a sitting-out area. The location puts you within reach of south Devon's beaches and estuaries, and Dartmoor is easily accessible for walking and exploring. One dog is welcome, kept on a lead. There are two fenced lakes in the grounds, 500 yards from the property. The site does not permit smoking.

Stayed on site in our motorhome. The staff are so friendly and the site is so clean. Heated outdoor pool was a massive bonus. Will be staying again soon x

Don’t be put off by narrow minded people saying stupid things about this place. We started van life 2 years ago and have stayed in so many places. This one is the best we have stayed at so far. Real humans own and run this place and you will always find one of them if you need something. They understand what people want when they go camping. Their shop is great local meats and good cheap prices. Hot food wagon cheap. General atmosphere of the site amazing. They keep on top of everything. I noticed kids blocking the toilet. Staff was sorting it out straight after. Everything was always clean. Staff were constantly mopping the toilets and showers. They even have baby cows. Just a great place and if you go stay here. You won’t regret it.

Came for a last minute break away, only living minutes away we'd never considered it before but it's a lovely site. Great pool, great food on site and well stocked shop. Will definitely return

Very quiet but it's February so out of season. Stayed on a premium pitch so was surprised that WiFi was not inc in the price, we did manage to get a 4g signal though. Toilets very clean, also lovely and warm. There is also a laundry room and provisions sold in the reception area. The pitches are not very level but have lovely views
