What diners say
We wanted to visit this dirty habits but unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, we waited for around 10 minutes and no one greeted us or acknowledged us. My friend raised his hand to get someone’s attention, and a waiter wearing a cap with tattoos on his arms came over. Instead of being polite, he rudely said, “Don’t put your hand up.” I explained that we had already been waiting for about 10 minutes, but he argued with me, insisting we hadn’t even been there for five minutes. It was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I only wanted to use the toilet, and my friend had to ask me to stop arguing because the waiter kept going back and forth with me. As a customer, I don’t expect to be treated like that. After that, we waited another 14 minutes for our drinks. I understand there was only one bartender working, so delays can happen. However, the waiter seemed more interested in flirting than serving customers. It also appeared that he had been drinking alcohol during his shift, as he couldn’t even speak properly. If that was the case, it is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Overall, the customer service was terrible, and I would not recommend this bar based on my experience.

PROBLEM WITH AN AGGRESSIVE MALE MANAGER: I’ve been to Dirty Habits a few times and overall I’ve always had a great experience. Great drinks and great staff. However, last visit I ordered a drink which tasted nothing like any of the ingredients stated on the menu, it tasted like water mixed with a few drops of rum. It was £13 and at that price if the drink tastes wrong you have a right to bring up to staff to resolve the issue. I asked our lovely waitress who was relatively new on the job if I could get the drink remade or exchange it for another and I’d be happy to pay the difference. As she was new she understandably went to go speak to her manager. Unlike this fabulous waitress, the male manager wearing a baseball cap stormed over and was incredibly rude and aggressive towards me and all my female friends. He proceeded to swear at me using foul language and acted in an incredibly aggressive manner over an issue which could’ve been solved in a calm simple way. This completely spoiled the vibe of the evening. I’ve always loved the kindness and fun vibes of the staff at dirty habits but this manager was completely the opposite of that and doesn’t reflect the staff body as a whole. The only reason I haven’t given service a 1 star is because of our lovely female waitress, she was great.

was very disappointed with my experience. The waiter wearing the black cap was extremely rude and lacked basic communication and customer service skills. He spoke to guests in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner, which completely spoiled the evening. When people spend their money to enjoy a meal, they expect to be treated with respect. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I don’t understand why someone who is unwilling or unable to communicate politely with customers is working in a hospitality role. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this place. I hope the management addresses this issue and provides better customer service training.

Asked for two pints of Chieftain IPA, a copper coloured pale ale but what they brought to the table were two pints of some light yellow coloured watered down hazy IPA. Chieftain is 5.5% and I know that strength of beer would give me a mild buzz after a pint. After this pint there was nothing. Total ripoff.
