I visited Flora in Tooting Market and, visually, it really is a lovely spot. It’s well decorated, nicely set in a corner at the end of the main aisle, and it stands out within the market. It also opens quite early, which is a big plus, and the breakfast menu is actually very appealing, with plenty of options to choose from. I ordered an açaí bowl and, to be fair, the flavour was genuinely good. No complaints there. Now, the inevitable question: why only 3 stars after saying all of this? Let me explain... I paid £1 extra for powdered milk and another £1 for condensed milk. I have absolutely no issue paying for extras, provided the quantity is reasonable. In this case, the powdered milk amounted to what could generously be described as a teaspoon, barely noticeable and certainly not impactful. The condensed milk was even more impressive in its restraint: two delicate drizzles, artistic perhaps, but hardly worth £1. The flavour didn’t change at all, which made the add-ons feel pointless. I chose not to complain about the extras because I was already uncomfortable with the 12.5% service charge they wanted to charge me and I didn't accept, despite ordering directly at the counter. I’m someone who likes to tip voluntarily, based on service, not automatically. I didn’t agree with paying it, and that added to the overall frustration. Unfortunately, the price-to-portion ratio completely let the experience down. I know this is London, but come on. The pricing, especially for the extras, felt excessive to the point of being absurd. In short: nice place, good flavour, decent menu. But the portions versus price and the way charges are handled mean I walked away feeling disappointed rather than satisfied.

Roshan who served us made this experience exceptional. Being lunch time, the people and atmosphere was limited but it definitely picked up as time progressed. Food was good quality but more options would have been welcomed. Bottomless brunch is well worth your time and money here at Flora!

Steak and chips was delicious. Such good food, dips and a delicious cold pint of corona. Staff were lovely and service was fast. Great atmosphere in the market too. Will defo be back! Would recommend the £15.50 steak chips and a pint deal

Came here for brunch and really enjoyed our meal. Portions were generous and full of flavour, there was a huge amount of smoked salmon on the salmon and eggs on toast. The breakfast burrito was stuffed with ingredients. Service was good and they also offer a good gluten free selection
