Granny Bond's Farmhouse is a working farm property with everything needed for a self-catering stay. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine, so you can prepare proper meals and handle laundry without fuss. Oil central heating and initial logs for the woodburner are included, along with electricity, wifi and bed linen. One bathroom serves the three bedrooms: two doubles and one single, with space for a pull-out single or cot if required. There is ample parking on site and you have the whole property to yourselves.
The farmhouse sits at the end of a private drive on a 130-acre dairy farm in the Torridge countryside. The coast is five miles away; Westward Ho! beach, Bideford and the Tarka Trail are all within reach. A 13th-century thatched village inn is 1.5 miles off for dining out. The area suits families, walkers, cyclists, water-sports enthusiasts and those wanting a quieter base to explore north Devon and north Cornwall. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted.
