Step into Verbena Cottage and you're in the main living space straight away—one open room where the wood-burning stove sits at its heart, with kitchen and dining area flowing naturally from the seating zone. Everything you need for cooking is here: a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a washing machine tucked in. The bedroom is a super king-size, and the en-suite has both a bath and a double shower. This is all one level, all yours alone on the farm.

The cottage comes set up for self-catering: linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are covered, and the wood-burner's first load of fuel is included. Outside, a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue looks out to the farm's lake and open countryside. There's a private hot tub for two, and parking for one car on site. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost. Smoking is not permitted inside.
