Ostler’s Cottage

Ostler's Cottage is a single-bedroom property sleeping two on Lower Winsford Farm, a working estate in the Torridge valley. The whole place is yours alone, with parking on site and a fully enclosed garden—useful if you're bringing a dog, since pets stay free. The cottage itself is compact but complete: downstairs combines an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with French doors onto a patio; upstairs is the bedroom with a super-king bed and ensuite shower room.

What makes it distinct is the hot tub. It's private to the cottage, positioned on your patio, and sized for two—the kind of detail that transforms an ordinary evening. The kitchen is well-stocked enough for self-catering: induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer and steamer all present. Underfloor heating runs through the downstairs. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included in the price.

The farm itself stretches across eighteen acres, with a shared lake where you can fish or take a boat out. No smoking inside. There's a travel cot and highchair available if needed. Check-in is after 4pm, checkout before 10am.
