The Old Piggery

A converted piggery in green Devon countryside near Bradworthy, The Old Piggery is a single-storey cottage with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and grounds that stretch to two and a half acres. Everything sits on one level: two bedrooms (one double, one kingsize), a living and dining room with woodburner, and a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher and air fryer. The bathroom has both a bath with shower attachment and a separate cubicle shower. One dog stays free, and there is secure fencing around the orchard and field, plus an enclosed back garden with patio and barbecue.

Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. The kitchen is set up for self-catering, and a welcome pack arrives with doggy extras for your pet. Parking on site covers two cars; storage for bikes, surfboards and canoes is available on request. The property sits among rolling countryside where buzzards and owls are regularly spotted. A glass-enclosed seating area with heater overlooks the lawn, offering a sheltered place to sit outside. The cottage does not accommodate children under 16, and smoking is not permitted.
