What diners say
I attended the Labour Party London Regional Conference as a delegate at the Leonardo Royal Hotel. The venue was excellent, with modern facilities, comfortable meeting spaces, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the conference. As I have reduced mobility and was unable to walk without my crutches, I was particularly grateful for the outstanding support provided by the hotel staff. They were consistently kind, attentive, and willing to assist me whenever I needed help, ensuring I could move around the venue safely and comfortably. Their professionalism, compassion, and commitment to excellent customer service made a significant difference to my experience. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the entire Leonardo Royal Hotel team for their exceptional hospitality and support. I would be delighted to attend future events at this venue.

This was a very dirty hotel. The lobby looks nice, the room itself looks nice and updated, until you walk into the bathroom. The bathrooms are old and have not been renovated, they just keep putting silicone and caulk over problem areas. Tub is dirty. The shower is dirty. the sink is dirty. Our toilet leaked upon check-in and we complained about how dirty and unusable the bathtub was. It’s a shame that I’m not able to upload the video I took of the shower. Throughout the stay, the shower stall smelled of sulfur/farts which lingered into the room. We'd come back at night just to be greeted by the odor again. They outsource their housekeeping, and that was abysmal. We had dirty dishes our entire stay, even after complaints. I watched the cleaning lady, when she finally came at 6:00 pm on the 3rd day, wash the dishes with her bare hands and no soap, in the bathroom sink. Dirty towels were left in the bathroom in a pile on the floor without being picked up, or replaced. The tea and coffee supplies weren’t cleaned or replenished without complaining to the front desk. The bathroom amenities were not replenished either, opened packages were left on the counter, we ran out of tissues, there was such a lack of care all around. The elevators are mirrored and were dirty our entire stay, from the push buttons and the doors on the outside, to the entire inside. On our final night we were fed up asked to speak to the manager instead of the front desk. We asked for one night to be comped, but they only offered us free breakfast in the morning. For as many times as we had to complain to get service, and show photo proof of the condition of our room, this was not a fair resolution. I don’t understand how this hotel has so many positive reviews given the public spaces. Our room couldn’t have been the only one with problems, Especially since the night manager acknowledged that their housekeeping was a problem. We would not stay here again.

It is our 4th time here as a family of 4 and I will start with the positive . * It’s less than a minute away from Tower Hill tube station and down the street from the Tower of London , which is amazing . * Breakfast here is fantastic . * Pool - perfect for children - robes and slippers in room to walk down to the pool . Perfect Negatives : Our aircon was broken & we had two days of 30degree heat . No apology given …. Very little sleep and moaning children due to the heat. The hotel advertised air con . The rooms are looking tired and the bathroom needs a whole new revamp . Which is a let down due to the price . However just to add - beds are nice and big and comfy

I recently stayed at Leonardo Royal Hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made for a relaxing stay. The location is very convenient, especially if you’re planning to visit areas such as Mayfair and other parts of central London. Getting around was straightforward and made the trip much more enjoyable. One issue we encountered was with room service breakfast. We ordered breakfast to the room, but unfortunately didn’t hear it arrive, so we ended up having to place the order again. While it was a little frustrating, it was eventually resolved. I also visited the spa, which was decent and a nice addition to the hotel. My recommendation would be to go during quieter periods, as it can become quite crowded and less relaxing when busy. Overall, I had a good stay. The clean rooms, convenient location, and hotel facilities made it a worthwhile visit, and I would consider staying again in the future.

Guests consistently praise this hotel for its spacious and comfortable rooms, which boast great views, and its excellent spa facilities featuring a large pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. The friendly and helpful staff are also frequently mentioned for their thoughtful touches, particularly when celebrating special occasions.
Some reviews mention the rooms can be poorly cleaned.
