Went for the first time for breakfast with my partner. As regulars to the gailes we were expecting quality and we got it. Lovely atmosphere perfectly themed to the area, roberts burns pics with writings on the wall, hand painting pictures and glass panels with photos of the local dunes etched into them. Comfortable seats, very clean everywhere and just felt like a home away from home. Food and service were wonderful. We had the Steak and Eggs.. honestly could eat two to myself but as a stand alone breakfast its perfect. The peppercorn sauce it top teir as it is in the gailes. We suggested the two places merge the highlander fries and the steak eggs into one meal. Server checked with the chef, you can ask and they will happily deliver. Honestly highlander fries from the simpsinns establishments are worth their weight in gold. Affordable too. Would have took pictures but we were too busy eating! Ha! Other menus throughout the day are just as appealing. Drop by, get yourself fed and leave happy. :)

Invited to a meal here with friends, enjoyed it so much we returned the next day with our family of 11. Service was friendly from the moment we walked in the door. Great selection available on the menu and the special 2 for £19.95 deal was excellent. Food was hot, good portions and very tasty. Recommend this restaurant above others in the area.

Great venue. Menu had a great selection and the two course set menu was a fab deal. Great price,fab options. Fairly busy for thur night early dinner. Decor lovely.

This is our first time in Scotland and I really wanted to have that country feel. The room was quaint and the employees were so sweet and helpful. Amid trying to figure all the plugins and how work those, my husband finally figured it all out. I would visit here again if we were to visit Scotland again.
