Marine Troon is a pleasant hotel, with a nice bar and restaurant. The staff that we met were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was nice as was dinner. The dinner menu was quite limited. What we had was lovely but we dined elsewhere on our second night for greater choice. The location is lovely. Our room on the 3rd floor was quite small but nicely appointed. I suggest that if guests want to enjoy nice views of the golf course and coast then they book a room on the second floor with a sea view. Obviously more expensive but probably worth it.

From Check in to Check out our experience at the Marine was outstanding. The service was second to none from all members of staff, especially Gary in the Seal bar. Super food and drinks with a beautiful view. My Spa treatment with Jasmine was superb. And the leisure facilities were great.

From the moment you arrive at Marine Troon, you feel as if you are visiting an old friend or family. During the stay, this feeling only grows stronger — you feel genuinely at home, and in some ways even more comfortable. What makes this place truly remarkable is the way every member of the service team combines natural warmth, unobtrusive charm, and consistently reserved politeness. Nothing feels forced, yet everything is attentive, thoughtful, and perfectly judged. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, and while many offer luxury, it is rare to find this level of warmth together with such genuine attentiveness and the feeling of truly arriving home. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff and management at Marine Troon. You have created something extraordinary — something that deserves sincere praise and recognition.

Outstanding service with very accommodating staff. The pool and spa areas were clean and well organised. The room was tidy, comfortable and spacious. High quality ingredients served at breakfast and dinner. Staff at the Rabbit were fantastic, it was my girlfriend’s Birthday to which they wrote a Birthday message on her desert, it was a very nice touch. The only small problem is the toilet placement in our bathroom in one of the rooms, it made it slightly difficult to access. All-in-all I had a very positive experience.
