What visitors say
A very beautiful part of the island of Skye that has an otherworldly feel to it. It is a very hilly area with a easily walkable path, which looks like it has an almost terraced look to it. The raod in has a parking for probably about 20 vehicles so get there if you want a space.Theres an area where you climb up, which isnt too difficult (im 57 with dodgy knees!), that takes you up where you can see almost all of the stunning landscape, we walked around the road a bit before going onto the path that winds through the hillocks, the rock formations and the ground thats been shaped with the patterns gives the whole area its unique feel, we went early in the morning and it was quiet which helped with the caming atmosphere. A wonderful place to visit, highly recommended, and who knows who you might see popping theor head out a door on the side of one of the hills...😊

There’s not much to say about this place other than stunning scenery. Well worth a visit on a pleasant day. You can climb very high up and see for miles around in good weather. Parking is down the road a little from the main site, a decent path leads all the way around the site. Just enjoy the peace and the scenery.

The Fairy Glen truly feels like stepping into a magical and mysterious world. The landscape is unlike anything else, with its surreal shapes and peaceful atmosphere, it almost does not feel real. Climbing to the top of the rock is absolutely worth it, as the view from above is simply stunning and gives you a full appreciation of this unique place. We visited at dawn, which I would highly recommend if you want to experience the place in complete quietness and avoid the crowds. It made the whole experience even more special. One tip, do not forget to bring a head net or protection against midges, especially early in the morning.

The Fairy Glen is an easy day of sightseeing. Its uniqueness is what sets it apart because there's so much on the Isle of Skye to see that's breathtaking. it might be a little bit more interesting if the stone circles weren't put there by modern day tourists and if anybody had ever lived there. Either way it's definitely worth stopping by and walking through and feeling the magic of Scotland in this way.
