What diners say
This is a fabulous Italian restaurant serving a menu full of delicious classic dishes. The atmosphere is warm and homely, with photos of previous diners on the walls that give it the feel of a true family-run place. I started with the carpaccio, followed by a whole seabass, while my partner had ham and melon to begin with, and a wild boar ragu for the main. Every dish was exceptional, easily among the best Italian food we have ever had. Everything was incredibly flavourful and generously portioned. Mamma Mia indeed! The service felt authentically Italian. It was efficient and of a high standard, though not overly smiley at first. You almost get the sense they might be accountants by day. However, by the time you leave, they win you over completely and you find yourself genuinely wanting to return. We even had our photo added to their wall, which means we now have every reason to go back. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly authentic Italian dining experience. Definitely Numero Uno!

Absolutely top drawer Italian food. The Bruscheta had excellently diced and dressed tomatoes on great bread, and my friends all had a special to start of fresh spaghetti with truffle that left empty played. And then my lamb cutlets were just excellent, great seat with well seasoned meat, but pink inside.

Our first time there last night and will definitely be going back. Beautiful interior, highly professional and friendly service. Our food was delicious in generous portions. Can’t wait to return.

Such a refreshing change from the usual chain restaurants in London! The moment we stepped in on a Friday evening, we were transported to Italy with its authentic ambiance and busy Italian atmosphere. The food was very good. If you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience away from the ordinary, this restaurant is a must-visit gem in Wandsworth.
