A lovely café in Wandsworth Town with a relaxed Scandinavian feel. There used to be a Soho branch, but unfortunately it closed last year. As the name suggests, the café embraces Scandinavian influences, particularly in its excellent selection of pastries, which are baked fresh daily at their bakery in Dulwich. The cardamom roll was a standout, and I’d highly recommend it. They also offer a range of savoury options, including focaccia, alongside soft-serves, hot and iced drinks. The iced cardamom latte was another highlight. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Although there is no Wi-Fi, the music is always good!

Went for the £1 coffee deal in the afternoon and this is by far the WORST branch of this by quite some distance! Where do I begin?! 😮 The toilet was out of toilet roll, so I had to use the paper hand towels instead. There's no hook at the back of the toilet door, which makes it awkward and unhygienic to try to put my bags somewhere so it doesn't touch the public floor. The matcha tasted EXTREMELY bitter and disgusting (what brand matcha do you use and how is it stored?), wasn't mixed properly so some clumps remained at the bottom of the cup and was lukewarm to the point that I thought it was iced when I touched my cup! Matcha tends to like temps of about 70-80 C so I don't understand what happened. The wait for it took ages for something so vile. Also had a peppermint tea (which was boiling hot, was in a rush for a bus so no pic of it) but then I noticed something that concerned me greatly: they don't filter their water! The water they use tastes contaminated, like when the Brita and other brands of filter stops working and that horrid, hard, undrinkable and polluted London water makes itself known to your taste buds. I've now got an upset tummy thanks to that unfiltered water🤢🤒. Soho had rapid service and tasted good (however lukewarm beverages also) and Dulwich also had fantastically fresh, delicious and hot coffee, buns and very good service. So what on earth went wrong? To their credit, the young and friendly East Asian woman who served me is a credit to herself and those who trained her. I also appreciate the Embargo Bluetooth stamp thing being easily available to collect near the till and wall plugs made available for charging electronics. My issues are: lack of toilet roll in the middle of the day, the woeful matcha brand used, the long wait for the beverages, the lack of water filtration and the lukewarm matcha. What a let down after two previously really good experiences😞. Please, please improve at this branch because as it is now and for as far as this is for me to travel, it isn't worth the long, hours long journey.

What an exciting morning! I was first in line waiting for the doors of the new Söderberg in Wandsworth Old Town to open — and it was absolutely worth the wait. I treated myself to four buns — cardamom, cinnamon, blueberry, and raspberry — and couldn’t resist testing out the croissants (always the true measure, even for a Scandi bakery!). One word: DELICIOUS. I promise I did share the buns when I got home! The staff were so friendly - still finding their rhythm on opening morning, but completely unflappable despite the long line of eager customers who queued behind me waiting for their doors to open. I absolutely love what’s happening in Wandsworth Old Town right now — and Söderberg is an incredible new addition. I’ll definitely be back!
