About Grove Farm Campsite
Looking for a genuinely quiet escape? Grove Farm Campsite, tucked on the edge of Warham village, delivers low-key countryside charm just minutes from Wells-next-the-Sea's beaches and harbour. Two small pitching fields offer sheltered meadow views where red kites circle overhead and deer sometimes graze at dusk. Free-roaming chickens and cockerels potter about—expect some early-morning crowing if you're a light sleeper, but that's part of the rural deal.
Firepits and barbecues keep evenings cosy, while the Wells & Walsingham Light Railway lies a five-minute stroll away. The Norfolk Coast National Landscape's wetlands are ten minutes by car, perfect for dog walks. A 20-minute road walk brings you to the local pub for home-cooked pies and Sunday roasts, or drive to Wells for more dining options. Facilities are basic—composting toilets, no hot water—but the peaceful setting and genuine warmth make this a brilliant budget-friendly base for families, walkers and anyone seeking proper countryside calm.

A Perfect Peaceful Getaway in Norfolk I recently had the pleasure of staying at Grove Farm Campsite, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The site is easily accessible while still feeling like a wonderful rural retreat. It is set in a truly great location, offering a lovely, peaceful atmosphere for a trip away. The absolute highlight of the stay was the fantastic view across the rolling fields of Norfolk. Waking up to that scenery provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing camping holiday. I was also thoroughly impressed with the facilities. The composting toilets are really good, exceptionally clean, and clearly well looked after. This is something that always makes a huge difference to the overall camping experience. Finally, the communication from the owner was excellent from start to finish. They provided clear and straightforward self check in instructions prior to arrival, which made getting settled incredibly smooth and completely stress free. If you are looking for a beautiful, well managed site with brilliant views, Grove Farm is an absolutely excellent choice!
