What visitors say
I hadn't been to this Vue cinema in years, but I was excited to see the Michael film on the official day of release so I decided to go. We went early so it was very quiet/not busy. The staff came across as bored/monotone. We got the leather seats, but they were no better than the red seats, rips and stains. When the trailers started, the little spot lights went dim, but a big bright light stayed on. It was shining right in our direction. I waited until the film started to see if it would go out but it didn't. I missed the first 10 minutes of the film to go all the way to the front desk to tell them about it and they said they would have a look, see if they could sort it. I went back to the screening and 10 minutes later, a guy popped his head in from the doorway and went back out. Another 20 minutes in, he popped in again and went back out. An hour in, me and my mum then moved to the furthest seat in the corner at the back because my head started hurting from the light, tried to enjoy the rest of the film. The guy popped in for a third time, then went out. When the credits started, they couldn't get in there fast enough to start cleaning. Even in the bathrooms, a male cleaning attendant came in, didn't wait for us to exit. We walked past the staff at the podium and they said nothing. No apology, or explanation, nothing. When you spend a lot of money for the cinemas these days, you expect a good experience. I have nothing against Vue cinemas either. Their prices in comparison to other cinemas are reasonable. It's safe to say though, that I will not be returning to the Livingston one!

Can you please clean the seats properly, the seats a filthy and the floor as well. However, that seat armrests, honestly thats like -4 starts armrests are deep fried in oiled, from all the nachos, chicken and popcorn! I never felt so discounting. Please change the seats, they are old like a museum stuff not comfortable to sit either! Get the leather seats!

We came for a family day out yesterday sbout 1:30. My dad was very excited to spend a day with his granddaughter as it was her first time goinf to the cinema. My dad started to video the cinema snd getting my daughter in it for memories. As I looked over to the 2 absolute rude woman working there, sniggering and laughing at my dad for filming his granddaughter in the cinema as we were getting our snacks. Honestly Whats the need to judge people and put people down. Took me a lot to not say anything to the 2 of them. Seeing someone happy and enjoying themselves just shows they weren’t brought up with manners and respect. Shocking customer service. Not been to the cinema in years but definitely won’t be back to this one. Apart from that it was good, but made me annoyed the rest of my time in there. Bitchy and rude girls. 2 girls working at the left hand side of the cinema sboit 1:20pm, have a word 🙂

I’ve been coming to this cinema for years. The tickets are very affordable and staff are all very friendly. However recently I’ve noticed that it feels like it’s time for a refresh though. All of the cinema screening rooms have a funny smell to them. The seats are all quite old and a lot of them have been replaced and don’t have numbers anymore. The toilets smell really bad as well. I think that a bit of money could be put into redoing the cinema as a whole. It is the most accessible cinema in the area for lots of people so it’s a shame to say it feels like it is showing its age a wee bit. I still love coming to the cinema and they do show lots of different films however a bit of TLC would improve the cinema experience and make it feel like a treat of a day out again.
