Acorn Leaf Cottage is a complete, self-contained property in rural West Devon that comes ready to use. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all provided, and the kitchen is fitted out for proper cooking rather than holiday shortcuts. A wood-burning stove sits in the first-floor sitting room, which has vaulted ceilings and exposed beams; there's also a private seating area outside for when the weather allows.

The cottage holds four guests across two bedrooms. One, on the ground floor, is a king that can be split into twins on request, with its own shower room. Upstairs, a second king bedroom has a full bathroom with both walk-in shower and freestanding bath. The ground floor also has the kitchen, dining space and a utility room. Parking is on site and straightforward.

The 25 acres surrounding the cottage are yours to roam, and the location—near Lower Whiddon—puts you among rolling farmland with easy reach of market towns and the Devon coast for days out. The property is no-smoking throughout.
