Kestrel Cottage is set up for self-catering with genuine completeness. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, so you can cook as little or as much as you want. There's a separate utility room with a freezer and washing machine for longer stays. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all covered. The living area has a woodburner, a smart TV, and enough seating for four around the dining table. One dog stays free.
The accommodation is two bedrooms and one shower room across two floors. Downstairs holds the living, dining and kitchen spaces. Upstairs are the bedrooms—a king-size and a twin—and the shower room. The cottage has character: low beams at the entrance and a step up into the main bedroom. There's a courtyard garden with furniture and on-road parking outside.
Whitchurch village has a pub within a mile. Tavistock, with its market town centre, is the nearest larger settlement. From here you can explore Dartmoor National Park or drive to Plymouth. No smoking inside.
