We loved our stay at Kingfisher cottage. Amazing hosts! Lovely comfortable room and an amazing breakfast. We were riding the coast to coast and they have room in the garage to keep your bike. All in all we couldn’t recommend this lovely B&B enough!

Stayed here a lot - It’s very relaxing and comfortable. The owners Paul and Carla go above and beyond to welcome you and no request seems too much to ask them ! The cottage’s location is close to the lovely town centre and accessible on foot or short drive to some great walks. Every stay is so nice and the cooked breakfasts are delicious. All in all a happy place.

This is a small, family-run B&B and they do a great job. The bedroom was fairly small, but everything was clean and the bathroom facilities were good. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and gave good information about the place and about the broader area. I really liked the large lounge that’s available for guests (great place to watch cricket highlights) and the conservatory (great place for reading Sunday newspapers). The breakfast was excellent. The room overlooking the river (twin beds) was for sure nicer than my room. Ask for that one. 😂
