Ash Farm Barns - The Bridles
West Lindsey

The Bridles is a ground-floor barn conversion on a working farm in the Lincolnshire Wolds, sleeping two in a kingsize bed. Everything you need for self-catering is here: a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave; a woodburner in the living room (logs included); oil central heating; and a bathroom with bath and shower. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and electricity are all covered, so there are no hidden costs to budget for.
The property opens onto a lawned garden with patio and barbecue, plus there's parking for two cars and a bike store on the farm grounds. If you're bringing a young child, a cot, travel cot and highchair are available. Guests share access to wider landscaped grounds with seating areas and can fish on the farm's private coarse fishing lake. The surrounding countryside offers plenty of walking routes, and Market Rasen itself—famous for its racecourse, restaurants and pubs—is roughly 3½ miles away. Horncastle's antique shops and Louth's Georgian streets are both within easy reach, as are the beaches at Mablethorpe and Skegness. Pets are welcome, and smoking is not permitted.

Highly recommend. Situated between Lincoln and the coast. Very clean and dog friendly. Very helpful owners. Skye their dog is friendly and well behaved with other dogs. Accommodation could not fault.

Love love love this place! Stayed a few times in different apartments and each one is adorable and charming with all the mod cons, dishwasher etc, and some of the cottages have real wood burner which is just adorable in the winter! Would 100% recommend

We stayed in the Old Dairy, the smallest of the buildings. It may be the smallest but there is plenty of room. A large central room divided into a lounge with wood burner and a kitchen diner. At each end is a bedroom. A double with an en suite and a twin with a very spacious wet room. It is well appointed in all respects. The privancy and peace and quiet are fantastic. Bring a torch if you need to go outside at night as there is no light polution to brighten your path. :) Market rasen is a short car ride away for any groceries, petrol etc. Attractions such as the Special Edition Chocolate factory, the Ice cream shop and a farm shop and the Kings head pub are all very close and highly recomended; many of the features in Lincolnshire which you may wich to visit are all within easy distance. This is a place I would like to return to. Many thanks for a very special holiday.
