Ash Farm Barns - The Hay Barn
West Lindsey

A converted barn set within working farmland at the edge of North Willingham, The Hay Barn retains original character while providing modern comfort. The single bedroom is galleried with a king bed, and there are two en-suite shower rooms—one attached to the bedroom, one downstairs. An open-plan ground floor combines living and kitchen space, with French doors opening onto a lawned garden and patio where you can eat outside or use the barbecue. Parking for two cars, a bike store, and a garden furniture area are provided on site.
Essentials are covered: electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with initial logs for the wood burner. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. You have use of laundry facilities shared with other properties on the farm. The grounds themselves are considerable—there's a private coarse fishing lake on the property, landscaped sitting areas, and direct access to walking routes across the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Market Rasen racecourse is 3½ miles away; Horncastle's antique quarter and Georgian Louth are short drives further. The nearest shops, pub and restaurant are four miles off. The natural spring water supply and the lakes and ponds in the grounds mean children need supervision in the grounds. No smoking throughout.

Love love love this place! Stayed a few times in different apartments and each one is adorable and charming with all the mod cons, dishwasher etc, and some of the cottages have real wood burner which is just adorable in the winter! Would 100% recommend

We stayed in the Old Dairy, the smallest of the buildings. It may be the smallest but there is plenty of room. A large central room divided into a lounge with wood burner and a kitchen diner. At each end is a bedroom. A double with an en suite and a twin with a very spacious wet room. It is well appointed in all respects. The privancy and peace and quiet are fantastic. Bring a torch if you need to go outside at night as there is no light polution to brighten your path. :) Market rasen is a short car ride away for any groceries, petrol etc. Attractions such as the Special Edition Chocolate factory, the Ice cream shop and a farm shop and the Kings head pub are all very close and highly recomended; many of the features in Lincolnshire which you may wich to visit are all within easy distance. This is a place I would like to return to. Many thanks for a very special holiday.
