Birch Hollow

Birch Hollow is a shepherd's hut on a rural West Northamptonshire site, sleeping two in a double bed. It suits couples after a quiet countryside break, or anyone wanting to bring a dog along. The single bathroom has a walk-in shower, and a kitchenette with oven, hob, microwave and fridge lets you prepare meals. A wood burner provides warmth when needed. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; Wi-Fi is available. You have the whole property to yourself, with outdoor seating and parking on site. Arrival is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00. No smoking.

The hut sits near an airfield that hosts Hinton Sky Dive Centre and Banbury Gliding Club. Delta Force Paintballing is a few minutes' drive away. If you prefer walking, public footpaths lead directly into countryside and nearby villages. The Rose & Crown in Charlton is within walking distance; The White Horse in Kings Sutton and The Muddy Duck in Hethe are also close by. Further afield lie Blenheim Palace, Sulgrave Manor, Silverstone, Bicester Village, Warwick Castle and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Northampton are all easily reached for a day out.
