Swerford sits quietly in the Oxfordshire countryside, a few miles south of Chipping Norton and the Cotswolds. The Old Stables occupies the edge of the village on a working farm, where you'll find grazing animals and an on-site arts studio. St Mary's Church stands nearby, and the landscape around the village is crossed by walking and cycling routes. The neighbouring village of Hook Norton has a brewery offering tours and a local shop.
This is a single-storey converted building with one double bedroom, a bathroom with bath and shower, and an open-plan living space that includes a woodburning stove. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave—and there's a utility room with washing machine. A TV, DVD and Blu-ray player are available. Heating is underfloor electric throughout. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included; the owners can arrange private arts and crafts workshops on request.
An enclosed garden with patio adjoins the property, and a four-person hot tub sits on the patio with its own shower facilities. There is parking for one car on site. The property is for couples only; no children. No smoking anywhere on the farm.
