Westmorland and Furness
A former barn in the Westmorland and Furness countryside, 1 has been converted into a two-bedroom property for four guests. The ground floor is largely open-plan, with a living and dining space centred on a wood burner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking (oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine), and a boot room with a heated drying cabinet for walking gear. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with two singles and a pull-out single. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. A garage holds a tumble dryer and space for bikes or other kit. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and the initial fuel for the wood burner are included.
Outside is a semi-enclosed garden with a terrace, seating, a barbecue and firepit. The hamlet of Guardhouse, where the property stands, is close to Threlkeld and within reach of Keswick and the Lake District fells. A pub sits within a mile. One dog is welcome. No smoking indoors. Private parking for one car is on site, with additional on-road parking available.
