18 In The Corner comes with a proper kitchen setup: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and microwave mean you can cook as much or as little as you like. The living room has a 32" TV, CD player and open fire for evenings in. Three bedrooms sleep six—a kingsize on the first floor with its own wet room shower, another kingsize on the second floor, and two singles. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included, and the heating covers winter stays.

The cottage sits on Windermere's main street, a few minutes' walk from the railway station and surrounded by shops, cafés and restaurants. The lake itself is a short walk away, and Bowness steamers depart from nearby if you want to explore by water. Walkers have immediate access to Lake District routes. You get parking for two cars on site, plus a patio at front and rear with garden furniture. The property is non-smoking.
