Coniston Cottage

Coniston Cottage is a traditional end-terrace property positioned to overlook the lake and surrounding hills. The ground floor contains an open-plan living area with a kitchen equipped for full cooking, a dining space, and separate toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one double and one with twin singles—plus a bathroom with a bath and shower. The essentials are covered: bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included.

Parking for two cars sits at the front, and there's a small patio at the rear. The cottage is three steps up to the entrance. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Coniston village itself has pubs, restaurants and shops within walking distance. The position makes it a practical base for fell walking, cycling and water activities; the Old Man of Coniston is accessible on foot from the cottage. Grizedale Forest with its visitor centre and forest trails lies nearby, as do Hawkshead, Ambleside and Windermere.
