Cedar Lodge is a single-storey property designed around an open-plan living space, where the kitchen, dining and sitting areas flow together. One bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite bathroom; the other contains two single beds served by a walk-in shower room. The ground-floor layout means everything is on one level, and a sofa bed in the living area provides flexible sleeping space if needed.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and washer dryer. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. Outside, a private terrace with garden furniture overlooks the lodge's grounds, and a hot tub seats four. Two cars can be parked on the property. The site is landscaped and shared with other lodges on the same grounds. No smoking is permitted indoors.
Ulverston itself—a market town with historic streets and independent shops—is five minutes away by car. Newby Bridge, with the Lakes Aquarium and Windermere cruises, lies 20 minutes south. The South Lakes Safari Zoo and access to the southern Lake District are within easy driving distance.

We have stayed in Pine Lodge for 2 years in a row now and have loved it each time. It is such a cosy, peaceful place to stay. Amenities in the lodge are great and we have no complaints at all. Jules was also really helpful and kind in advising us of a local bonfire night firework display which we attended. We were also offered a later checkout as it was my birthday on the day we were leaving. It is about a 5/10 minute drive into the town of Ulverston and not far from Windermere and other nearby towns. We will definitely be returning again and it will likely become an annual visit for us! Thanks again to Jules and family for being so accommodating and providing great communication, we would definitely recommend a stay here!

We had an amazing stay at Pine lodge ! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The lodge was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—secluded enough for peace and quiet, yet close to Ulverston . The views from the lodge were breathtaking. Overall, this was one of the best holiday lodges we’ve stayed in, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

Had a wonderful week here. Great base to explore the lake district and local area. The lodge was great had everthing you needed and the hot tub with lovely views topped of a very relaxing and peaceful stay. I Definitely recommend staying here..
