Doddick Farm Cottages - Harrison’s Lodge
Westmorland and Furness
Harrison's Lodge is a detached timber building on a beef and sheep farm in the lower slopes of Blencathra. The lodge was built for couples seeking seclusion, with a south-facing patio and garden furniture that catches the afternoon sun. One well-behaved dog can come along, though it must stay on a lead while on the farm.
Inside, the ground floor is open plan: a compact but well-fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, living room with two-seater sofa and Freeview TV, and a shower room. Upstairs is the bedroom with a kingsize bed and timber beams. Essentials are covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi are all included. The lodge sleeps two and has parking for one car directly outside, with additional spaces available nearby.
The nearest pub is less than a mile away in Scales village. Keswick Golf Club sits almost directly opposite. Keswick town itself, with restaurants and shops, lies five miles south. The surrounding fells offer walking and cycling routes from the doorstep.
