Doddick Farm Cottages - Lucy’s Lodge
Westmorland and Furness
Lucy's Lodge is a detached timber cabin on a working farm in the lower reaches of Blencathra country. You enter directly into an open-plan ground floor: living room with television, dining area, and a kitchen fitted with electric oven, hob and microwave, plus a breakfast bar that opens onto both spaces. A shower room is tucked off to one side. Upstairs, a single bedroom with a king bed and timber beams completes the layout. The property sleeps two and is yours alone.
Outside, a south-facing patio with garden furniture sits a step from the patio doors, and beyond it stands a private hot tub. One car parks directly in front of the lodge; additional spaces are available on the farm if needed. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The cottage is non-smoking.
Threlkeld village lies just off the A66 between Penrith and Keswick. Local pubs are within a mile, and Keswick itself—with restaurants, independent shops and fell walking routes—is five miles away. Keswick Golf Club sits almost opposite the lane. Walkers can head straight out into the fells from here; after a day on the ridge, the hot tub becomes the obvious next move.
