Ghyll Head

Ghyll Head is a single-bedroom pod sleeping two, finished to a high standard and set near Bowness-on-Windermere in the Winster Valley. Everything essential is covered: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The owners have equipped the place thoroughly—the kitchen is fully functional for self-catering, the ensuite has a walk-in shower with rainfall head, and there is on-site parking for one car. One dog is welcome, and the owners provide a height-adjustable food bowl, dog towel and waste bags.

The layout is straightforward. Ground floor throughout: a combined kitchen, dining and sleeping space, with a kingsize bed and wall-mounted smart TV in the bedroom area, plus the ensuite with heated towel rail. A private terrace overlooks the grounds. The property sits on shared grounds that include a children's play area and garden furniture. No smoking indoors.

An inn serving locally sourced food is immediately adjacent. Bowness is roughly 10 minutes' drive; Ambleside 20 minutes; Grasmere and Rydal Caves around 30. The immediate area has numerous footpaths for walking. Arrival is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
