Winster is a single-bedroom pod completed in 2023, situated behind The Brown Horse Inn in Winster Valley. You arrive straight into an open-plan space that merges living, dining and kitchen areas, with the bedroom and ensuite flowing from the same footprint. Everything is at ground level and accessible in a handful of steps. The bedroom holds a kingsize bed with a wall-mounted smart TV; the ensuite has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. The kitchen is fitted for cooking rather than just heating; the dining table seats two comfortably; the living area opens via French doors onto a private terrace with woodland views.

What's provided covers the essentials—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is parking for one car on site. The grounds include a shared children's play area. A footpath approach means no vehicle access to the door itself. No smoking inside. The pub next door serves local food and real ales; Bowness-on-Windermere is ten minutes by car, Ambleside twenty, and Grasmere thirty. The area is threaded with walking routes and is also a gateway to Lake Windermere cruises, boat hire and local attractions.
