Molly’s Cottage

Glenridding sits at the foot of Helvellyn, and Molly's Cottage occupies one of the main approaches to the mountain. The village itself is a five-minute walk from Ullswater, where steamers run across the lake and anglers cast for trout and char. Aira Force waterfall lies within reach on foot. The Inn on the Lake stands less than a mile away, and other pubs and cafes dot the immediate neighbourhood.

The cottage spreads across three floors: a living room with a gas fire on the ground floor, a kitchen/dining room equipped for proper cooking (electric oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine), and a bathroom with a shower over the tub. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a king, a single, and a room with two singles—plus a rooftop sun room with patio doors opening onto a balcony that overlooks the surrounding fells. The house is yours alone. WiFi, heating, electricity and bed linen are included, and the enclosed garden has a patio, furniture and a gas barbecue. Smoking is not permitted.
