Stybarrow View Cottage comes ready for independent holidays. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine; the living room contains a TV and DVD player. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included, along with heating via electric storage heaters. There is an enclosed garden with patio and barbecue for outdoor time, and parking on the road outside.
The cottage is a traditional terrace on the southern edge of Ullswater, sleeping five across three bedrooms: a double on the second floor, a single on the first, and two further singles on the ground floor. One bathroom serves the property. The village centre—shops, pubs and restaurants—sits 200 metres away. Water sports happen on the lake itself; walking starts from the doorstep onto the surrounding fells. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The property does not permit smoking. Note that the split-level landing requires care when moving between floors.

We’ve visited Glenridding several times over the years but this is the first time we have stayed at Stybarrow Cottage. WHAT… a GEM! The place is so well equipped for yours needs and it offers great views from the rear garden and the added bonus of the top floor balcony. We loved our week here and have booked again for next year! Fabulous, homely accommodation in a perfect position in beautiful Glenridding. Spent a relaxing weekend here and would definitely return. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need to hand. Would highly recommend

Beautiful cottage, very clean and well-stocked with everything you need. Beds are very comfy, the garden is great to sit in and the views are fantastic. Sally is a great host too, really easy to contact and was quick to respond when we had questions during our stay. Thank you!

Such a lovely home from home complete with everything you could need so saves on how much you have to bring with you. In a perfect location with easy access to all the main attractions. Spottlesly clean and just a lovely space to spend a week or two in!!
