There's a restaurant on site along with a picnic area, and staff at 24 hour reception are on hand throughout your stay. Worth noting: some rooms do run warm, so it's worth bearing in mind if you prefer cooler nights.
Beyond the guesthouse itself, a pub and further restaurants sit nearby for evenings out, and free on-site parking makes it easy to come and go for the walking and cycling routes on the doorstep. It's a straightforward, well-placed spot for exploring Ullswater and the surrounding fells.

Dont usually bother giving reviews but I think Faiview is underselling itself with the room for one person I stayed in. They advertise small with electric shower . I found it medium sized, large telly, exceptionally clean,and had all mod cons and the attention of the lady who I think probably owns the place was exceptional friendly and caring. Breakfast was one of the best. Thanks for a perfect stay

Great place to staybin exploring the area. The rooms are clean. I've been staying in this place for the 10 years. I keep coming back. Ullswater Lake is just across the road from this property. Start of Helvellyn walk, is on the th8s property from the car park. Aira waterfall is not far from here. The owner is so accommodating and and always smiling.

I booked this for my parents to stay in for the weekend of my sisters wedding and it was such a gorgeous and cosy hotel. Breakfast was incredible and the rooms were spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful! Thank you! Would definitely come back!
