Outhwaite Cottage
Westmorland and Furness
View on Google MapsOuthwaite Cottage comes ready for a complete stay. The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge—plus a breakfast bar for casual meals. Heating is oil central, with an initial load of wood for the burner included. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all covered, so there's nothing to arrange on arrival. A highchair is available if you need one.
The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a living room with smart TV and woodburner, a dining room, and a shower room with walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Upstairs are three bedrooms: two with king beds and one with a single bed plus a pull-out single, along with a bathroom that has a bath with shower over it and another heated towel rail. The cottage sleeps six and is yours entirely—no shared facilities or neighbouring guests.
Outside there's private parking for three cars and an enclosed front garden with patio and seating. One dog is welcome. The cottage sits on a farm in the northern Eden Valley, with the Lake District to the west and the North Pennines to the east. Walkers can step out directly into countryside, and the Coast-to-Coast cycle route passes nearby. No smoking inside.
