Penny Rigg Cottage comes ready for immediate use. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with heating and electricity. The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and washing machine with tumble dryer. A wood burner sits in the living room, with initial logs supplied. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms—one with a zip-and-link super king bed (which can be set as two singles on request) and an ensuite bath with shower, the other with a double bed and walk-in shower ensuite.

The cottage occupies a central spot in Coniston village, within walking distance of the town's amenities, Coniston Water, and the fell footpaths, including the route up the Old Man of Coniston. A private parking space sits on site. Ground-floor access is straightforward with just one step to the entrance. The rear opens onto a garden with seating area and furniture. One dog stays free. Smoking is not permitted.
