Ramblers’ Cottage

Ramblers' Cottage is a three-bedroom house in Westmorland and Furness, sleeping five people. It stands within walking distance of Bowness village, where you'll find shops, cafés and restaurants, and sits at the edge of terrain that opens onto the fells and lake. The cottage is yours alone for the duration of your stay, with one dog welcome.

The layout spreads across three floors. Downstairs there's a living room with a 42-inch smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with an electric range and dishwasher. A utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a kingsize on the first floor with its own television, two singles on the same level, and a third single on the floor above, along with a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower and heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. The enclosed garden has a terrace and furniture; there's bike storage and parking for one car on site. Smoking is not permitted.

The cottage suits families and groups exploring the Lake District without a car-dependent itinerary. Walks start from the doorstep, and Bowness pier, where lake cruises depart, is nearby. The train station and ferry terminal are also within reach for wider exploration.
