Robsons Cottage

Robsons Cottage is a fully equipped 18th-century terraced property in Alston, Westmorland and Furness, sleeping four across two bedrooms and one bathroom. Everything essential comes as standard: electricity, gas heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with initial logs for the woodburner. The ground floor combines living and dining space around a woodburner, with a kitchen fitted for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, microwave and slow cooker mean you can prepare anything from a quick meal to a full roast. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has a double bed, while the second is accessed through it and contains a single day bed with a pull-out single underneath. The shower room has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. One small dog is welcome to stay. The cottage sits on the high street in Alston, the highest market town in England; parking is on-road with unloading space at the door, and a bike store is available on request. A pub lies within a mile, and the town itself has independent shops, cafes and restaurants, plus a working bakery. The Lake District is nearby, and the Pennines and Dales are accessible from here.
