Sanygate

Sanygate is a stone cottage positioned on a quiet alley just off Penrith town centre, offering genuine seclusion while keeping shops, cafés and restaurants within moments on foot. The Lake District is accessible from here, yet the immediate setting remains peaceful and enclosed—the kind of location that gives you access to amenities without the noise of being on a main street.

Inside are two king bedrooms upstairs (one can be arranged as twins) and a bathroom with rainfall shower. The ground floor opens into a lounge with two sofas facing a Smart TV, a separate dining area, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave included. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. A shared courtyard outside has seating if you want to sit out. Guests bring one dog if they wish. The cottage is entirely yours for the duration of your stay.

Penrith itself has been a market town for centuries and sits at the threshold of the Lake District. A pub lies within a mile. Smoking is not permitted inside.
